What Is Cellulite?

It is more common than you might think; almost 90% of women have some form of cellulite.  It happens to many of us, regardless of your age or weight.  Cellulite is a harmless resistant type of fat formed beneath the skin's surface that pushes through a web of connective tissue, creating a puckered and dimpling appearance (orange peel effect).  Cellulite shows up as uneven, lumpy skin on thighs, hips, and buttocks.   It comes from fat, but you don’t have to be overweight to develop it.
